INSTALL macOS MOJAVE ON WINDOWS WITH VMWARE PLAYER
REQUIRED FILES:
To install macOS Mojave on windows you need to download the vmdx file. This file is the virtual disk of macOS, the weight is about 6GB so the download time depends on your network connection. Unlock the Unlocker folder with WinRAR and right click on the win-install. Run the installation as an administrator. Install VMware player, use the non-commercial version to enjoy the program for free. Once VMware Player is installed, create a new virtual machine and copy the vmdx file to the folder of your choice. All installation steps are described in the following figures.
CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS
The figure below shows the configuration parameters assigned by me based on the resources available on my PC.
INSTALLATION STEPS
The following figures show the virtual machine installation steps.
EDIT THE FILE .vmx
Once you have created the virtual machine and set the parameters correctly, obviously the amount of RAM you can assign depends on the amount of memory you have installed on your machine. A good compromise is to allocate half of the RAM to the underlying Operating System and half to the Virtual Machine. Edit the file with the .vmx extension with notepad and add the following line at the bottom;
smc.version=”0″
INSTALL VMWARE TOOLS IN macOS MOJAVE
Open the CD/DVD virtual drive, select the VMWare Tools file and start the virtual machine.
GRANT PERMISSIONS
Assign permissions to allow software installation.
